“I Am Perfect is well thought out book. Children do notice differences. Might be better for a bit older children, who are more body-conscious. Some of my children have asked me why I am short? I am 4’9”, I said, because my parents are not tall. We did a chart showing their height and various animals’ heights. They were interested and I see them checking her other's height. It would be interesting to see how they respond to this book as they do a fair amount of dramatic play as a firefighter and the like.”
