THE BOB E. BEAR BOOK SERIES - 4th OF 4 BOOKS
Bob E. Bear is in second grade now and he's having some trouble with bullies. Some of the other bears have been picking on him and he doesn't know what to do. When he talks to his mom about it, he realizes he's been bullying someone, too!
Join Bob E. as he learns why bears bully other bears and how to be understanding and accepting of others. No matter how different another bear is, bears are bears and all bears deserve kindness.
Suitable for ages 4 to 8 years. EARLY READER
Bob E. Bear was born one night when I was putting my sons to bed. They always wanted a story. On a whim, I just started talking about a little bear named Bob E. From there, the stories just kept coming. Bob E. learns life lessons along the way. So did my boys! Sometimes children learn better from someone more like them. These books will hopefully help your little ones grow and open dialogues about what you hold dear!
REVIEWS
“Review (5 stars): Thank you to Fox Pointe Publishing for this Advance Reader Copy opportunity! I read Bob E Bear & the Bully Bears by A.J. Sullivan to my 6-year-old daughter and here is a quote of what she told me after reading, “I actually really liked it! I think this book should be in all the schools so teachers can give it to kids to read when they are being bullied or bullying someone else.”
I really loved the moral that is shown when everyone realized they have done something to bully someone else and then they get to learn together. There was a moment in the book when a bear is getting tripped by another student and my daughter felt so much empathy that she gasped and said aloud, “that isn’t very nice!” Readers at any age learning empathy through fiction is such an important and special gift, and this book gives that!
Along with my daughter recommending this read to all kids in schools, I recommend it as a great bedtime read that sparks important conversation and thought that kids can keep with them as they think about their day after.”
