Belle Meets Henry
The Adventures of Belle book series shows the importance of having a sense of community and how that understanding facilitates learning about others. As Belle goes about her adventures she meets all the different creatures that live in her neighborhood and gets to see their daily life from their perspective.
The first book introduces Belle to Henry the Heron. They work together to come up with a creative way of showing Belle her neighborhood from the sky. Through this adventure, Belle develops an appreciation for the beauty of her entire community.
It’s all a matter of perspective...
On an adventure in her neighborhood of Cady Lake, Belle the Dog meets Henry the Heron. Henry wants to show Belle what the neighborhood looks like from his perspective, but how is that possible? Belle can’t fly! She’s a dog. Will Henry and Belle be able to work together to show Belle a bird’s eye view of the world?
Join Belle the Dog on her first of many adventures as she makes new friends and helps build her community through learning about and understanding her neighbors.
Suitable for Early Readers, ages 5 to 8 years.

”What a wonderful read for bedtime or anytime with your kids. Follow along as Belle meets a new friend and each of them are amazed and delighted in their differences. Henry can fly and Belle can't but they manage to figure out a way to spend time together and relish each other's uniqueness. The illustrations are beautifully done and capture Cady Lake perfectly. FIVE stars and TWO thumbs up from me.”

“I read Belle meets Henry to my grandson and he said, ‘I really liked it because she (Belle) got to fly and have a great adventure.’ Belle and Henry were able to problem solve and come up with a solution together. The story involves something most of us want to do... FLY... and feel the breeze flowing through our ‘fur.’”

My name is Belle and I live in Charlotte, NC with my family. I like walking around my neighborhood and eating dried-up worms. They are a yummy treat but my human family thinks it is gross. Even though worms are good, my most favorite food is a carrot. I will do anything for you if you give me a carrot. When not exploring my neighborhood, I enjoy cuddling with my family on the couch under lots of blankets. I look forward to sharing my adventures with all of you.
