DEAN ULLAND - Author
Dean Ulland is a retired History/Political Science professor with undergraduate degrees in History and Political Science. He holds an MA in History from Minnesota State, and taught for 18 years at Riverland Community College. Along with his wife, Dean lives on a farm near Corning, MN. They have 3 children and 8 grandchildren.
Throughout Dean’s life, he has always had a passion for history and agriculture. His writing and research interests include local and Minnesota history, immigration history, World War I, and modern England. Dean’s hobby is collecting rare books, and he has a large collection of old books and other documents, including many from southern Minnesota.
EXPERIENCE
Although no longer teaching, Dean continues to present his research at history conferences, and history programs in Austin, Rochester, Owatonna, Blooming Prairie, and Albert Lea, MN.
