When a new baby is born into a blended family, a young child asks her mom and stepdad how they can love each of the children the same way. Her parents teach her that the love they have in their hearts for each child is not the same, but unique and special because of who that child is, and that each child holds a perfect key that fits their hearts. No matter what, the unconditional love they have for all their children will last until forever. Suitable for ages 3 to 8 years.

ASHLEY LARUE - Author
Ashley LaRue has dreamt of writing books since she was a child and is thrilled to finally be living one of her dreams. She hopes this can show others, especially her children, that anything is possible if you believe in yourself. She also hopes that her books for children will connect with families everywhere and provide opportunities for open communication on difficult topics like divorce.
She lives in central Minnesota with her husband, their five children, and two dogs. Their family enjoys movie nights, swimming, exploring the woods, sledding, biking, going on walks, four-wheeling, and just spending time together as a family. Ashley’s philosophy on life is to be a bright light for others and spread compassion, love, and understanding.
